this here is a sketch of a fellow classmate Kate Mason shes a good chum and also did this in my lecture. quite quickly. so i think i can feel myself getting alot better at drawing women.

i was a ad bored today and decided to paint my studio locker with an elegant lady. but on looking back at the pictures she didnt reallyturn out how i wanted her to in my head but hey ho it took about 20 minutes and thats what this whole thing is for just posting the quick and nasty stuff

Heres just a few of the sketches i got from yesterday. the best ones i did from the lot. the 'Dead Sweet' one won me a runner up prize. was prity chuffed about that.

Dr Sketchy Cont'd

so after a couple of sketches and a toilet break i'd started to loosen up and enjoy the lesson. it was like a typical art session. the director of the group gives you a time limit but also a theme. so say some poses he suggested placing her on a broom. stirring a cauldron or rising from a grave. which was prity fun. and after every round of drawing the director of the day picked out his favorite piece and gave the artist a prize and then an overall prize at the end of the day. as it went on i noticed my self getting prity competitive but it was my first time and it was fun. and it payed of in the end cause i won a runner up prize at the end. a loverly pair of tights and a water color set.
also a benifit from the day was seeing other people's styles and methods. i met one lady who was on her travels from Arizona and had been to one of these back in the states. she won first prize so that was cool to see seen as she had come the way and all. so all in all i was quite impressed by how this thing gets around. and i'm definatly going to the next one. the next one is dated as 3rd of November but where is to e announced. check out the site

Today i attended this life drawing class in Camden. but it had a slight twist. the life models where stunning burlesque ladies. so it was a tad bit better than drawing old worn women from my uni's model supply.
i arrived slightly late so i had to prop myself on top of the bar and draw from there. whilst sippibg on a tequila.( not that bad i thought)
at first it started quite nervously. my hands shaking from rushing to get there and plus being in an unfamiliar place and with strange people.

the second was out of a film magazine. but i added the caption....i like it it has balls and so does she

well the idea of putting the pictures up on myspace fell through because of their censor stuff and apparently it has to suit under 14s...hey ho never mind.
so i'll defiantly start using this bad boy now.....so here goes
welcome here if your any of my mates who missed it on myspace and hi to anyone new.
basically i'm using this for drawing practice to up my methods of drawing. especially females (because i'm a tad sketchy) and also working on my perspectives and anything else i think i need to work on which i think is a lot. anyway because of the lack of life models i can get to use i've been drawing from film, newspapers, and even porn so i hope no ones easily offended. but i know my own boundaries on how graffic i'll go.
anyway enough chitter chatter.
